A man involved in a fight on the streets of St. Julian’s has been denied bail after being arraigned.

Isman Omar Abdikarim, 22, from Somalia and who has no fixed address in Malta was charged in connection with the November 24 fight in which a number of men allegedly pelted a man with stones.

Abdikarim was later identified by the victim and arrested.

He pleaded not guilty to slightly injuring the man, assaulting and threatening him, breaching the peace and living an idle and vagrant life.

No request for bail was made in view of the fact that he had no address. He was remanded in custody.
