No week goes by without an injury on a construction site, and this week is no exception.

This morning, a man from Pakistan, resident in Sliema, was seriously injured while he was working on a construction site in Zabbar.

The accident took place in Triq Sant’Antnin at 10.40am.

The 47-year-old was taken to hospital after a number of bricks fell on him.

He suffered serious injuries, the police said.
