An elderly man was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Lija this morning, the police said in a statement.
The crash involved a BMW driven by a 22-year-old man of Birkirkara and another BMW driven by a 69-year-old of Lija.
The latter was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
