A motorcyclist was seriously injured on Tuesday following a crash with a car in Fgura, the police said.

The accident happened in Zabbar Road at 11.10am.

The biker, a 28-year-old Italian who resides in Fgura, was riding a Piaggio X7 which was involved in an impact with a Suzuki Alto driven by a 76-year-old of Zabbar.

The biker was taken to Mater Dei Hospital with serious injuries.
