A 55-year-old man from Birgu was charged with sexually abusing two minors and a vulnerable person over a period of three years.

Inspector John Spiteri said that the accused was living with his partner, and abused her children while she was undergoing cancer treatment. He was also said to have abused another relative. The victims were two boys and a girl today aged 12 and 21 (the boys), and 13 (the girl).

Lawyer Franco Debono appeared for the accused asked for bail, however Magistrate Yana Micallef Stafrace ordered that the accused be remanded in custody
