The funeral of the mother and daughter who were killed in a traffic accident in Mgarr last Sunday was held this morning at the Zabbar parish church.

Graziella Mallia, 53, and her daughter Fallon Mallia, aged 31, died on site after the Maruti they were in was involved in a collision with an Audi on the road leading from Mosta to Mgarr on Sunday evening.

Another seven persons were injured in the accident, including four children.

Fallon Mallia’s son, Eli, who is 12 years old, was among the injured.
