A biker was seriously injured this morning in a traffic accident in Msida, the police said.

The accident took place on Princess Margaret Street at 7.30am.

The accident involved a Landrover Freelander driven by a 24-year-old man of Sliema and a Kawasaki driven by a 33-year-old man of Kirkop.

The biker was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
