Seven rescued as cabin cruiser sinks in Sliema

Seven people were rescued from a sinking cabin cruiser off the coast of Sliema this afternoon.
A spokesman for the police said the operation was ongoing and witnesses said that those on board had been safely taken onto land.
A distress call was received at around 12.15pm.
