A 27-year-old woman residing in Luqa is suffering from grievous injuries following a traffic accident in Mdina Road, Zebbug, this morning

The woman was driving a Maruti 800 at around 1.10am when she lost control and the car overturned.

CPD were called on site to assist the victim who was trapped inside the car.

An ambulance rushed her to Mater Dei Hospital to be treated for the injuries she sustained.

Police investigations are still underway.
