The Church of Our Lady of Victory, with its painted ceiling by baroque artist Alessio Erardi, is the first church of Valletta and is a magnificent setting for cultural events. It was built by Grand Master de Valette and the Order of St John after their victory in the Great Siege of 1565. It has been restored by Din l-Art Ħelwa, voluntary National Trust of Malta.

After the concert, patrons are invited to the basement cinema of the church for a free viewing of the short audio visual entitled Grand Master de Valette and his first church of Valletta which is an entertaining illustration of the history and development of the church.

Entrance to the concert is at a suggested donation of €10.

Tickets will be sold from the venue itself, prior to the concert, by sending an email on: [email protected] or by phoning on 7968 0952
