Artist Fabio Borg will be participating, once again, in a collective exhibition in Italy. This exhibition entitled Premio Centro 23, is in memory of Giorgio Di Genova who passed away last July. Di Genova was a great Italian art critic, art historian and writer. This exhibition is being curated by Fabrizio Carli, Tiziana Todi and Paolo Berti.

Fabio is one of fifty-four artists who will be participating in this exhibition with an installation entitled, Mentalità Apertà (Open Minded Mentality).

Fabio comments: "This installation conveys uncertainty. I believe that uncertainty is caused by the way some people think and take decisions. Everything starts with the human brain. We are what we think. Many times suffering and uncertainty in our lives are the result of the wrong decisions taken by others or ourselves. Uncertainty exerts a strong pull on our thoughts.

Sometimes we would love to have the opportunity to open our brain and free it from the bad memories, negative experiences and situations we have found ourselves in, or indeed sometimes created ourselves, cancelling them once and for all. Just think of all the victims of war, but not only. There are even those who suffered abuse, bullying or domestic violence. All of them if they had the opportunity, would choose to cancel and forget all these negative experiences from being part of their lives. This is what I am trying to convey in this installation."
This exhibition will be taking place at Palazzo Chigi Albani in Soriano nel Cimino from 21st October to 12th November.

Congratulations to Fabio whose art work was selected.
