From 2 to 30 May, Christine X Art Gallery will transform into a haven inviting visitors to revel in wonder and traverse the enigmatic landscapes of life through the prism of art.
Whimsical Inquiries stands as a convergence of diverse artistic expressions, embracing both emerging talents and seasoned creators. The line-up of artists also includes Karen Caruana, whose work captures the playful essence of humanity; Rebecca Cassar, known for her vibrant and whimsical abstract pieces; Trevor Diacono, whose sculptures depict peculiar facial expressions; Charlene Galea, whose abstracted and almost psychedelic photographs mesmerise viewers; Ruslana Grima, renowned for her linear facial drawings; LUfER, whose recycled art pieces exude playfulness; Mariam Mifsud De Giorgio, whose illustrative collages captivate; Adrian Scicluna, whose paintings transform mundane subjects into fantastical realms; Sabina Smialek, celebrated for her naïve figurative ceramics and Emma Weller, known for her grotesque and nostalgic doll-sized figures.
