We are sure that such a press group will only bring the appropriate awareness before this event. I am confident that the Dubai journalists will generate awareness about Malta’s heritage and trade.”
This initiative is part of a series of activities organised by the Malta Enterprise Dubai Office. These include Maltese Trade Missions to Dubai, attracting of FDI to Malta and also supporting MTA’s participation in the Arabian Travel Market being held in April 2004.
Consul General & Commercial Counsellor, Anthony P. Tabone said: “Apart from organising trade delegations for Maltese companies, the Malta Enterprise office in Dubai also supports initiatives to promote Malta in the Gulf. Currently Malta Enterprise embarked on a strategy to attract FDI to Malta from the Middle East and such events are only part of this strategy. MTA’s support on this event is definitely a commitment to the programme of activities in Dubai. Needless to say, that activities like this, are made possible through private and public partnerships and we thank our sponsors being Emirates Airlines, Corinthia Group and MTA.”
