Dr Sant met general manager Ronald Cuschieri, Human Resources manager Mario Cutajar and directors Carlos Calamatta, Dr Adrian Zammit and Wigi Micallef.

He was taken for a tour around the nursery where he was shown the new production lines for ornamental plants and the modern machinery used for the recycling of green waste.

Dr Sant and Mr Farrugia were also shown around the newly-refurbished office block and introduced to the management team which controls the day-to-day running of the operation which has some 300 employees.
