32-year-old Bouras Adele, who lives in Attard, admitted he had threatened, insulted, assaulted and injured the two police officers, Mahmoud El-Saadi Giuma and another person last Wednesday at City Gate, Valletta at about 10.15am.
Adele also admitted breaching the peace and being in possession of an unlicensed weapon.
The court was presided over by Magistrate Antonio Mizzi. Inspector Ramon Mercieca prosecuted while Dr Stefano Filletti appeared for the accused.
