The course, which begins today, will be conducted by US instructors and will train participants in a wide range of airport security issues, including analysis of cargo and travel documents and ensuring aircraft security.
Approximately 30 Maltese participants who are responsible for various aspects of airport security are expected to attend this course, which is sponsored by the US government, at a cost of more than $30,000.
