Victor Agius, 23, pleaded guilty to handling stolen property on 11 September 2003. The court, presided over by magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera, took into account the fact that the accused had cooperated with the police, had pleaded guilty at a very early stage in the proceedings and had a clean record.
He was conditionally discharged for three years. Police inspector Carmelo Magri prosecuted.
