Gordon Schembri, 18, from St Julian’s, was accused of defrauding a number of people and companies between 1 and 25 May. He was also charged with being in possession of a sharp and pointed instrument and with relapsing.
Magistrate Joe Cassar turned down the man’s request for bail and he was remanded in custody.
