Officers of the Police Mobile Squad rushed to the scene after receiving reports, at around 12.15pm, that three young men were acting suspiciously in the vicinity on a boat afloat in the area.
The police found the young men on the shore next to a boat, with one of them carrying a tool box, allegedly stolen from the boat.
The youths, from Msida and Ta’ Xbiex, are being detained by the police.
The investigations are being conducted by the Msida District police.
