Alexander Micallef, 34, from St Venera was given a suspended sentence last Tuesday and on his way out of the Law Courts in Valletta he allegedly pushed and assaulted Graziella and Saviour Ferrito, a couple involved in the original case against him.
The incident occurred at 11am in the Law Courts and just outside the building. Yesterday, Micallef was charged with breaching the terms of the sentence given last Tuesday, slightly injuring the Ferritos, threatening police officer Kevin Farrugia and using obscene language in public.
The court was presided over by magistrate Joseph Cassar and inspectors Alexander Grech and Ramon Mercieca prosecuted.
