Moviment Graffitti does not agree with the GRTU’s reasoning that, in a free market, people have the right to make their own choices without being imposed upon.

The movement feels that the union is missing an important point, namely that in public areas, smokers are imposing their unhealthy choices on non-smokers.

Moviment Graffitti therefore supports the Health Promotion Department in its efforts to safeguard peoples’ health.

The Ministry of Health should not bow to the

pressure of the GRTU and tobacco big business.

Profits should never come before people, said Moviment Graffitti.
