The initiative for the publication of a food magazine came from the general manager of Standard Publications, Noel Azzopardi.

After Gloria Pont's Gourmet magazine ceased publication following the first issue some years ago, the features department of The Malta Independent on Sunday had suggested the publication of a food magazine on similar lines. The job was passed on to Daphne Caruana Galizia.

Taste is beautifully presented with exquisite photographs and a deluge of recipes from the creative Matty Cremona as well as other interesting articles. All foodies who have not yet seen a copy can purchase one at their local bookseller.
