The parking problem in Marsascala, particularly at weekends, is for many an immense concern.

The association is working on a number of potential solutions to the problem. It is considering all the resources available in Marsascala to solve the problem.

Thus, the association approached the Park of Friendship with the idea of opening its car park to the public at weekends.

This service is considered by the Park of Friendship as an aid to the business community in Marsascala, to Marsascala visitors as well as to the residents.

Those who use this service will be avoiding the stress of finding parking space in the highly frequented centre of the village, will have their mind more at rest and will be helping a non-profit charitable organisation.

The members of the Marsascala Shopowners Association encouraged all their clients to make use of this service.

The association said this agreement was yet another confirmation of the importance of unity and collaboration between the concerned parties to solve the difficulties that Marsascala is facing as well as the role that the association has in addressing the issues in Marsascala.

The association thanked the management of the Park of Friendship for their collaboration.

The agreement includes also a shuttle service that will run from the Park of Friendship to St Anne Square to the central entertainment point in Marsascala.

The shuttle service will be available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from 3 July.
