The fault in St Julian’s occurred at around 11.40am and was due to an internal electrical fault in a hotel.
In the case of Marsa Industrial Estate, the interruption occurred at 8.35pm and was due to a fault in a salocal substation supplying the estate. Immediate steps were taken by Enemalta Corporation to restore supply in the shortest time possible. In St Julian’s the electricity service was restored at around 3.10pm while at Marsa Industrial Estate the electricity supply returned to normal by 10.50pm.
