The singers were accompanied by the writer and the composer of their song On Again...Off Again, Philip Vella and Gerald James Borg.

Dr Sant thanked Julie and Ludwig for honouring Malta in Turkey. He said the Malta Labour Party appreciated the work the had put in to give their very best for the country.

In return, Julie and Ludwig thanked the Labour leader for the cordial meeting, adding that it meant a lot to them knowing that in Malta there were still people who appreciated their work and that of the writer and composer. Julie and Ludwig also gave Dr Sant a copy of their CD.

Also present at the meeting were MLP secretary-general Jason Micallef and MPs Carmelo Abela and Justyne Caruana.
