Speaking at the annual meeting of the Bulebel Industrial Tenants’ Association, Mr Vassallo said the parties concerned must be prepared for the future of industry.

By contributing to discussions, all industries can help the local authorities in their consultation with the EU and, at the same time, keep the Maltese industry up-to-date with happenings on the European level.

This has already started and industries were involved in a number of proposals made to the EU, the parliamentary secretary continued. Together with some of the tenants, Mr Vassallo met Malta Freeport officials to discuss the problems these tenants are facing.

Mr Vassallo will also be working hard for more industries to join the tenants’ association.
