Justice Minister Tonio Borg told parliament that the police had received 827 reports of theft, 297 reports of damage, 123 reports of attempted offences, 101 reports on bodily harm. Reports on other crimes included offending public morals (four), arson (11), computer misuse (three), drugs (one), forgery (13), fraud (eight), illegal immigration (12).

Furthermore the police received two reports on prostitution, one report on the abandonment of a child, one report claiming sexual offences, nine reports on threats and public violence and eight reports of violence against public officers.
