The injured men were in a car being driven through the north-bound Regional Road in a Peugeot 206.

A police report said the Peugeot hit a Fiat Punto, which was travelling in the same direction. The Peugeot ended up on the south-bound lane after going through a concrete barrier. Luckily no other vehicle, going through the south-bound lane was involved in the accident. The driver and the passenger in the Punto were unharmed and their vehicle sustained only minor damage.

Officers from the Msida police station are were called to the scene and are investigating the incident.
