The meeting was held in Dr Sant’s office at Malta Labour Party headquarters. The report presented by Competitive Malta comprised an analysis of countries’ potential for economic development through a mid-term and long term plan. The report included a particular analysis of Malta.

During the meeting, Dr Grech explained that Competitive Malta is a foundation working towards national competitiveness and aims to put this issue at the top of the national priorities. Dr Grech spoke of the work being done on proposals for Malta to be more competitive than other countries. Competitive Malta also aims at involving various sectors of society to reach its objectives.
