According to the protest, a few days ago the children’s parents received the book list for the 2004-2005 scholastic year. With this list, the parents were sent two fliers encouraging them to buy books from two particular stationers'.
Eduline Ltd claimed this was abusive and unethical since it
created unfair competition. The company demanded that the situation be remedied and is holding the school, the permanent secretary and the Education Division director responsible for any damage it has suffered.
The protest was filed in the first hall of the Civil Court by Dr Edward Woods.
