Apart from a trophy, Mrs Cusens also received a monetary gift from Mr Anthony Miceli Demajo, Managing Director of M. Demajo (Wines & Spirits) Limited which Mrs Cusens has chosen to donate to Dar Merhba Bik and YMCA.

In his short and witty speech, Mr Anthony Miceli Demajo told the elegant audience who were enjoying a splendid dinner on the evening of the award, which took place at the Radisson SAS Baypoint Resort recently, that Baileys liqueur has proved to be a success story world wide since its inception. "A measure of Baileys success is the large number of look alike products which have been launched on the market during this time. None of them however, have managed to dethrone Baileys from its leading position. It is in recognition of this leading stance, that Baileys have decided to initiate these awards, aimed at recognizing the outstanding qualities for the women nominated."
