Through this scheme, HSBC’s Home Loans division will give all customers taking out a Home Credit Loan, Classic Home Loan, High Value Home Loan, Bridging Loans or a non-resident Home Loan, Lm200 worth of vouchers, which can be used when purchasing from a range of eco-friendly goods available at Forestals.
“HSBC places environmental protection at the centre of its core values,” said HSBC Home Loans Product manager Chris Cini.
“In Malta, the bank puts this value into action not only by supporting a wide range of environmental projects run by NGOs but also by offering incentives, linked to its financial products, which aim to encourage the use of environmentally-friendly products and services.
“Buying a new home often also means buying a range of new appliances. Through this incentive, HSBC hopes to encourage its home loans customers to choose eco-friendly options,” he said.
HSBC will be giving three vouchers, redeemable at Forestals, to all new home loans customers – one voucher for Lm100 and two for Lm50. Customers can choose to use these vouchers separately or all at once.
Forestals will give HSBC home loans customers a Lm50 discount on purchases between Lm250 and Lm499.99, a Lm100 discount on purchases between Lm500 and Lm749.99, a Lm150 discount on purchases between Lm750 and Lm999.99 and a Lm200 discount on purchases of Lm1,000 and over.
