Mr Alemanno will be meeting Mr Pullicino and the parliamentary secretary in his ministry, Frans Agius, to discuss the reform in the pitkalija open market, the site of the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean, and assistance from the Italian government for the promotion of local agricultural products.
The Italian minister will attend the inauguration of the viticulture and oenology laboratory in the Ghammieri government centre. He will be visiting Gozo, St John’s Co-Cathedral and the Hypogeum.
In the meantime, Mr Pullicino is leading a Maltese delegation in Cyprus and Israel following an invitation from the two
governments.
The Maltese delegation will be holding bilateral talks and visit several sites that could have importance for Malta.
