A police report said that the accident occurred at around 10am at Tigne seafront.
The 29-year-old man, who is resident in Malta, was working on a construction site when he fell a height of one storey. He was rushed to St Luke’s Hospital and found to be in critical condition.
Magistrate Lawrence Quintano appointed several experts to help in the investigation.
