Those who are entitled to benefit from the initiative can get their free vaccination at the Floriana, Paola, Mosta, Gzira, Qormi, Cospicua, Rabat and Birkirkara health centres between 10am and midday on weekdays and on Saturdays between 9 and 11am.

Gozitan residents can get the jab at the Victoria health centre from Mondays to Fridays between 8 and 11am.

People entitled to a free flu jab include those over 65 years of age, people who work in health care, people convalescing or living in institutions, those who suffer from lung ailments (asthma, bronchi etc.), heart disease, liver and/or kidney damage, diabetics, people with a low immune system, AIDS sufferers and cancer patients.

Others who do not fall into any of the above categories are encouraged to be vaccinated. The vaccine is available from most pharmacies. People under 65 who suffer from the above ailments are requested to provide proof of illness.
