Acting on an anonymous tip-off, the police found two of the illegal immigrants in Hal Millieri, near an old cemetery known as Ta’ l-Ors.
Following up their investigation, police found another man in Madonna tal-Gilju Street, Mqabba. All three men were handed over to the immigration police for further investigation.
The four other immigrants have not yet been apprehended.
