Mr Casa will also be responsible for the tabling of any amendments on behalf of the European People’s Party and the European Democrats.

This is another important appointment for Mr Casa after being appointed rapporteur for the Fisheries Committee on the Fisheries Fund earlier this month.

David Casa expressed his satisfaction on being appointed to the post and commented that such appointment shows the degree of confidence that the other members of the European Parliament are showing with regards to Malta and the Maltese members.
