Every year thousands of families and friends of all ages from all walks of life come to the brewery for an evening of merry-making under the huge tents set-up especially for the occasion.

Last night proved to be another great success. In the main stage tent, Claudette Pace and Fabrizio Faniello’s performances delighted the crowd while Id-Dulli and Veronique gave a good dose of laughter and cheer, in the style of the true Bavarian Spirit. In the 1565 House of Rock, Hiddensun and Corkscrew were on top form and had the crowds crying out for more.

Tonight’s celebrations will end in style with performances by Julie and Ludwig and Freddie Portelli. DJ Banana and the Val Valente Band will amuse the crowds and lead the competitions, games and spot prizes.

In the 1565 House of Rock, a more chilled out atmosphere prevails with Bay Radio DJ Miss Roberta titillating the crowd before a much-anticipated performance by Fakawi ending this year’s Oktoberfest in style.

The Malta Oktoberfest 2004 is held at the Lowenbrau Brewery in Qormi. Doors are open from 6 pm until late.
