Emad Othman M. Silini was yesterday charged with stealing a Toyota Starlet belonging the Maltese Government at 11.30am on 30 September from Pietà.

He was also accused of receiving stolen goods and breaching the conditions of a suspended sentence. The man pleaded not guilty to all charges pressed against him and was remanded in custody.

Magistrate Giovanni Grixti presided over the court. Inspector Carlo Ellul prosecuted while Dr Patrick Valentino appeared for the accused.
