The woman was critically injured after she was hit by a bicycle which was being ridden by a boy in Sannat, her home town on Sunday morning.
The 73-year-old woman, Georgia Bajada, was airlifted to St Luke’s Hospital because of serious injuries she had sustained. She succumbed to her injuries in the early hours yesterday. Gozo magistrate Paul Coppini is conducting an inquiry into the incident.
