Christopher Scerri, 21, from Mosta, yesterday was accused of stabbing Mario Camilleri with an unlicensed pointed instrument during a fight at around 9.30am last Tuesday. He denied this charge and the additional charges of breaching the peace and misusing telecommunications apparatus.

Presiding magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera granted the accused bail against a Lm5,000 personal guarantee. Mr Scerri was also ordered to pay a Lm1,000 deposit. He was out under house arrest.
