Malta Public Transport said Wednesday it has launched its Back to School campaign, offering eligible students the opportunity to register for a personalised Tallinja card free of charge, including postage, between Tuesday 1 September and Friday 30 October.

The campaign is aimed at children and students returning to school, MCAST, Junior College, the University of Malta and other educational institutions for the new scholastic year. Once registered, students can travel free of charge on Malta Public Transport's day and night bus services using their personalised Tallinja card.

Applications are open for students aged between 11 and 16, as well as those 17 and over who can provide proof of attendance on a full-time study course lasting more than three months.

The personalised Tallinja card can be used for journeys to and from educational institutions, as well as for travel during the day and after school hours.

Students who do not yet have a personalised Tallinja card are encouraged to take advantage of the campaign and apply during the applicable days.
