These discussions are particularly important for the IUSY because the group will draw up its policy on what is happening in the Middle East based on the solutions brought forward during the meetings.

IUSY Secretary General Enzo Amendola will be attending the congress along with the Secretary General of the European Socialist Youths Lias Antoniou, thus representing the European socialist groups that do not fall within the Mediterranean region.

MLP leader Alfred Sant will be among the speakers at the conference. The Labour Youth Forum delegation will be led by International Secretary Keith Azzopardi, together with Secretary General Lorenzo Vella, Stanley Agius, Therese Spiteri and Elaine Farrugia.

After a request from the Italian Socialists, this delegation will also be meeting with the group to discuss possible cooperation between them.
