Travel agents who successfully completed the Malta Tourism Authority’s online learning programme received official Malta Travel Expert certification and were added to the Malta Expert list on www.urlaubmalta.com, which enables prospective German travellers to Malta to locate a Malta Expert in their region.

With over 2,000 travel agents registered for the MTA’s online training programme, the sixth seminar was launched last month aimed at educating German travel agents on the products of the local partners in Malta.

The setup of the training programme, found at www.maltaschulung.de, is in five stages and the charming Grandmaster mascot ‘Johnny Valletti’ guides students through the various stages of the training, as well as giving them tests.

Travel agents may register online for this training, which is offered free of charge.
