Opel has been rated as the Best European Car Manufacturer in the latest quality survey published by leading German motoring magazine, Auto Bild. The survey is based on interviews with 25,000 car drivers and the results of seven million reports carried out by the German Technical Inspection Agency. Opel cars performed especially well in the endurance test. Other factors that go in to the report are the number of recalls and the number of complaints on particular manufacturers received by the magazine.
“The Auto Bild quality report is conducted annually and is considered to be the most comprehensive study on the subject. The 2004 report concludes that ‘Opel is at its height in terms of quality.’ In Malta, reliability and endurance are qualities which customers insist on and as Opel’s representatives, United Automobile can offer a range of vehicles which are not only reliable but beautifully designed,” said United Automobile Ltd managing director Edmund Gatt Baldacchino.
