With reference to the article entitled Scout Leader forced to Resign, published in The Malta Independent of 26 June 1998 and the subsequent article reporting the court sentence delivered by the First Hall Civil Court, it is hereby declared that from further investigation, it transpired to TMI that with reference to the incidents reported, Mr Edwin Siracusa was acquitted of all charges raised against him and was reinstated in his former position within the Scouts’ Movement.

From the facts collected, Mr Siracusa was found to have acted honestly.
