Atlas Healthcare has just launched a new upgrade to their existing healthcare plans that allows consumers to buy insurance which will pay for preventive care tests such as dental checkups, eye tests, mammograms and smear tests.

I am also very pleased to add that we are the first health insurers in Malta to offer such a wide preventive care cover.”

The “Preventive Care” optional upgrade provides insurance cover for dental checkups, routine eye testing, alternative therapies and prosthetic appliances.

The “Preventive Care Plus” option includes all the “Preventive Care” cover plus routine cervical cancer screenings and, for clients aged over 45, routine mammograms, ultrasounds, prostate tests and periodic stress ECGs.
