British Airways franchise partner GB Airways will start direct flights from London Gatwick to Sharm El Sheik and Hurghada on the Egyptian Red Sea Riviera from 22 October.
Flights will operate three times a week to Sharm El Sheik and twice a week to Hurghada.
GB Airways managing director John Patterson said: “We are delighted to start these flights to Sharm El Sheik and Hurghada. As the first UK airline to operate scheduled services to the Red Sea Riviera, I am confident that many customers will welcome the opportunity to fly direct and in comfort with a world-renowned full service airline.”
All flights offer a choice of Club Europe and Euro Traveller cabins with complimentary food and drinks and more leg room than many other carriers.
British Airways flies from London Heathrow to Cairo and franchise partner BMED flies to Alexandria.
