P. Cutajar Limited, local agents for Kinder Bueno presented a trip to Milan, Italy to Antoine Borg Micallef from Lija.

The trip includes flight tickets for two, a two-night stay at a central hotel, Lm100 spending money and confirmed tickets for Destiny’s Child live concert in Milan.

To participate in the competition, listeners simply had to call in DJ Gianni’s show on 89.7 Bay as soon as he played the Destiny’s Child Kinder liner. The 8th caller of every programme made it to the final.

Every Friday, a name was drawn from all five finalists of the week and was asked a question on Destiny’s Child and another question on the Kinder Bueno wrapper. If the person answered correctly, he/she move on to the final stage. Twelve callers made it to the final after a 12-week search.

Eleven finalists won a CD player each and all participants received a Kinder Bueno pack each.

“Kinder Bueno is an exciting product that matches well with Gianni’s Show and Destiny’s Child. Bueno has been a hit all over the world with its creamy crunchy taste.

“We wish Antoine a very good trip,” said Clyde Attard, marketing manager for P. Cutajar Limited.

With a team of supporters made up of family and friends, Antoine burst into a scream as soon as he found out he was the winner.

“I listen to Gianni’s show at home as I find it very amusing. When the Kinder Bueno competition kicked off, I realised how great it would be to go on holiday and actually be present for the Destiny’s Child concert – all for free.

“So I dialled the number as soon as I heard the Destiny’s Child Kinder liner and that’s it. I never thought I would win the final round because I’m not so lucky usually. I will eat Kinder Bueno for the rest of my days!!” said Antoine Borg Micallef. His sister, Therese, will accompany him to Milan this month.
