A man was sentenced to an 18-month jail term, suspended for three years, after being found guilty of forging public documents and subsequently using them.
Emanuel Sacco, 53 from Rabat was found guilty of the crimes, committed before 14 February 2004. He was also guilty of driving a car without a licence.
Presiding magistrate Saviour Demicoli took note of Sacco’s early guilty plea and cooperation with police.
